The Heto PL3000 unit presents a unique new principle in freeze drying: the twin-capillary tube system - PowerDry®. The principle reduces the time required to reach operating temperature, at the same time providing an ice trapping capacity unheard of in a compact lab freeze drying unit. The design is very compact and incorporates a microprocessor, which facilitate easy programming of temperature and vacuum. Additionally alarm parameters can be set at desired levels. Optional product sensor can be interfaced whereas the RS 232-C serial interface board is standard ensuring communications to optional PC on printer. This feature allows data logging of condenser and product temperatures, as well as vacuum parameters. The Heto PL3000 is perfectly suited for Academia and Industrial research. The unit is easy to use and fulfils all requirements from the market in terms of price, performance, quality and features. Further to the Heto PL3000 the existing range of high-quality Heto freeze dryers is still available, which gives the opportunity to choose between different ice capacities and condenser volumes.
