Primary human BDCA-4+ cells were isolated from peripheral blood (PB) mononuclear cells (MNCs) using positive immunomagnetic separation techniques. PB was collected using one of the following anticoagulants: acid-citrate-dextrose (ACD), acid-citrate-dextrose solution A (ACDA), citrate-phosphate-dextrose (CPD), citrate-phosphate-double-dextrose (CP2D), or citrate-phosphate-dextrose-adenine (CPDA). BDCA-4, also known as CD304 or neuropilin-1, is expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs).
Cells were obtained using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols.
