Synthetic calcium phosphate/hydroxyapatite nano powder
I have used the hydroxyapatite nanopowder, <200 nm particle size as a reference standard for Raman spectroscopy. It is understandable that the product states ≥97% purity, but it is likely that there may be very minor contamination of calcium carbonate and calcium sulphate during the manufacturing process.
