Application Area:

Preparing solution to use in precipitate flotation

It was extremely useful as precipitates' flotation reagent for uranium's removal from diluted aqueous systems by in situ generated Fe(III) oxyhydroxides as adsorptive support. The uploaded Fe(III) oxyhydroxides were floated for 5 minutes using pressurized water and sodium oleate solution in the dissolved air flotation technique. The U(VI) removal efficiency was more than 95%.
