An optimized blend of Taq and Deep Vent® DNA Polymerases, LongAmp® Taq DNA Polymerase enables amplification of up to 30 kb PCR products with a fidelity higher than Taq DNA Polymerase alone. LongAmp Taq is also available with Crimson tracking dye (NEB #M0326) in the reaction buffer.

Screening for Crispr mutants
The Polymerase is very processive and reliable, although with unpurified DNA. You can amlpfy easily more than 8 kb. We use a touchdown PCR protocol and can amplify nearly every product we want. We have been using this polymerase for more than 10 years.
