This is a really reliable and user friendly cycler. I like the fact that the access to the pcr programs are secured and accessible only by the user. This way the programs can only be modified by it’s user and not someone else from the lab. I also like the multiplicity of usages for these machines. PCR and qPCR can be done I the same machine which makes things easier for the follow up of the protocols

When doing some PCR tests its a good instrument to have. It's fast and easy to use. It can be connected with other units so that you can share info easily, and monitor each sample individually. One can place many samples in it and can be viewed and controlled individually and the results will be obtained in less of time rather than doing it from scratch as we used to do in the past.

Fast and confident machine
PCR reactions
This thermocycler is super fast. I have also one from Techne, however when I have the same program, this is in 20-30 min faster, the temperature is really rapidly changing. The use of the thermocycler is very easy, the only little small disadvantage is the sound - you can hear the working machine in the next lab. However, I like this thermocycler.

The universal block for different tube types extends the applicational range of Mastercycler and Mastercycler gradient as well as saving time and money. It is possible to use 96 x 0.2 ml tubes, 77 x 0.5 ml tubes or one microtiter plate - without having to change the block.
