The Maxwell® RSC Tissue DNA Kit is a simple, automated method for extraction of DNA from up to 50mg of mammalian tissue using the Maxwell® RSC Instrument. The kit contains all the necessary reagents for DNA extraction from tissue and is used with the Maxwell® RSC Instrument in a convenient prefilled cartridge format. Homogenized tissue is added directly into well #1 of the cartridges, and purified DNA is ready for analysis in about 45 minutes. Purified DNA can be used directly in a variety of downstream applications such as agarose gel electrophoresis and other amplification-based assays.
