Isolation of total RNAs from plasma and whole blood for microarray
Although we completed all the steps recommended in the literature and protocol, we could not isolate RNA at the expected concentration and quality. For high-throughput technologies, OD values are definitely very bad and not recommended.

I use QIAGEN for small RNA extraction from plasma forever.
plasma RNA extraction for small RNA-seq and qPCR
Well organized kit. I tried several kits and this one had the best RNA recovery rate from 200ul plasma, which is sufficient for QIAseq small RNA-seq library. Working time is also acceptable (12 samples/3h).
