QC quantification of liquid and solid agricultural products
The instruments are easy to take care of, but will require a new laser every 3 years at a fairly high price, and a lamp on a year basis that is not expensive. Routine maintenance and upkeep is minimal.

NIR analysis
The MPA instrument is very versatile and great R&D tools especially it enables the development of NIR model in the research environment and be able to directly transfer to manufacturing on-line instrument without much modification. This tremendous cost saving and the after service support is very helpful especially in the area of method development.
