Nabertherm has a long, successful history with the high-temperature range up to 2,500 °C. Furnaces for the sintering of technical ceramics and for numerous other applications in research and the laboratory for which temperatures above 1,400 °C are required can be shipped from our standard product line.

The heating of high-temperature furnaces working with air is achieved with high-quality heating elements of molybdenum disilicide. Attainable temperatures are 1,600, 1,750, and 1,800 °C. For temperatures of up to 1,600 °C, SiC heating rods can also be used.

The LHT model series, just redesigned, is an outstanding table model due to its compact construction. Available sizes are 2, 4, and 8 liters. Its first-class manufacture from high-quality materials, combined with its ease of use, makes this furnace an all-rounder.

For temperatures above 1,800 °C, high-temperature vacuum furnaces are used, which are operated in protective gas atmospheres. The use of flammable gases is also possible. By using different pumping stations, a vacuum of up to 10-5 mbar can be achieved. Upgrading with special retorts and exhaust systems can also enable the furnaces to be used for powder metallurgy. Processes like MIM and CIM can be realized with the furnace.
