Nabertherm offers a comprehensive line of tube furnaces for nearly any purpose or application. These are resistor-heated tube furnaces for temperatures of up to 1,300 °C, and high-temperature tube furnaces for temperatures from 1,500 °–1,800 °C with SiC rod heating or molybdenum silicide heating elements.
Furnaces are available in different variants, tailored to any application. To make the right decision, a few requirements of the process must first be clarified. Application conditions such as the temperature bandwidth, working positions, horizontal or vertical operation, working tube diameter, heated length, and the atmosphere, are all important decision criteria. Whatever is needed, Nabertherm tube furnaces can be designed in equipment variants customized exactly to the requirements of the user.
The tube furnaces of the R model series are designed for simple processes up to 1,300 °C. These compact tabletop furnaces with integrated switching and control systems can be used universally for many processes. The hinged RS model series was developed for more complex applications up to 1,300 °C. This model series can be used either for horizontal or for vertical operation. By using the wide variety of accessories, these professional tube furnaces can be designed optimally for the process.
The RHTH and RHTV high-temperature furnaces have been developed for processes requiring temperatures of up to 1,800 °C; the RHTH model series is for horizontal operation and the RHTV for vertical operation. For this line, too, a variety of equipment variants are available, including a number of predefined gassing packages (vacuum-sealed, water-cooled stainless steel flanges, etc.) These furnaces are also available in standard furnace designs for operation with flammable gasses such as hydrogen.
