Microbiological testing
These assemblies incorporate a graduated 56mm-wide polystyrene filter funnel holding 100mL, a petri dish base, a membrane in black or white with a pore size of 0.45 or 0.8 microns, and a polystyrene cover with a magnified viewing spot. The pre-assembled units are compatible with either poured or ampouled media and the base of the dish fits into a #8 rubber stopper (3/8" - 9.5mm diameter). These assemblies save much time for a high-volume lab. Pricing is inexpensive compared to most other brands and a real value when quality is considered. The product is packaged and plastic-wrapped assuring sterility. Each 50-count case is labeled with a lot code and expiry as well as a QR code and contact information for further inquiries. Neogen representatives also are ready to provide information or assistance whenever I encountered an issue (which is rare).
