OpeRATOR™
OpeRATOR is an O-protease digesting O-glycosylated proteins N-terminally of the S/T glycosylation site. The presence of O-glycans is required for OpeRATOR to exert its enzymatic activity. OpeRATOR is supplied as a lyophilized powder with no preservatives added, and is available in 2000 unit vials for digestion of up to 2 mg O-glycosylated protein. The enzyme is shipped with 2000 units of SialEXO for removal of sialic acids.

O-protease digesting O-glycosylated proteins
OpeRATOR is a one-of-its-kind O-protease which digests O-glycosylated protein N-terminally of the S/T glycosylation site. Both the presence of an O-glycan and a desialilation is required for the enzyme's acitvity. This is a helpful enzyme for all sorts of characterization experiments with O-glycosylated proteins.
