Cell culture
The product is very good but it doesn't have a lead, so the rate of evaporation is high. It is not functioning for low water levels. It would be great if the circulator and heater were fitted inside the water bath not mounted above it.

Precise temperature control of water
The Grant TC120 digital heating circulating bath can be used in various applications requiring precision temperature control in the range of -15°C to 120°C. The device is quite stable, simple and has a user-friendly interface. The price/quality is okay.

The Grant Optima™ series of stirred thermostatic baths and heating circulators is a cost-effective range of multi-purpose systems combining Grant’s quality and reliability to provide precise temperature control for a wide-range of laboratory applications.
With a choice of digital entry-level, mid-range and high specification models you can configure your own system:
- Combine any of the four Grant Optima™ digital thermostats with any of eight Grant tanks (five stainless steel and three plastic) to arrive at a choice that suits your needs
Optima Heated Circulators range consists of four models (operation at or below ambient requires optional accessory cooling or a refrigeration unit):
- T100 series with digital control, 0º to 100°C
- TC120 series with digital control and integral pump, -15º to 120°C
- TX150 series with digital control, integral pump and enhanced programming features, -15º to 150°C
- TXF200 series with digital control, enhanced integral pump and sophisticated programming features, -15º to 200°C
