We love our Osmo1 Single user multipipetor. It's simple to calibrate, clean, and maintain. The precision and accuracy is much better that our previous Fiske 210 model and the protinol and renol controls are very stable.

Reliable results and wonderful analyzer!
Analyze solutes in a solution
The Osmo1 is a wonderful instrument. You can rely on the results. When testing in duplicate the results are always within 2 of the original results. The analyzer is simple to use and maintain. I have used an analyzer like this for 15+ years and have never had an instrument related failure. Advance Instruments offers the supplies that a medical laboratory scientist needs to perform linearities, quality controls, and set standards for this analyzer. There is no reconstituting the reagents associated with this analyzer. This saves time. The ease of use of this analyzer is also a plus.

Good little instrument.
Hospital laboratory for osmometer orders - serum and urine
Ease of use: very easy to run but the calibration takes forever and cannot use other controls beyond Advanced Instruments' ones. This is why I cannot give 5 stars. After sales care: No problems here - tech service is very good. Value for money: Reliable, easy to take cvare of the instrument.

Would change product but AI indicates their QC must be used or warranty is void.
Quality control
Sample stability is a big issue. As per service, QC should not be out of fridge for more then 30 min each day and even with this precaution, more often than not, we need to open a new bottle prior to the manufactures stated stability of the product.

The Osmo1 was very easy to set up. Instructions were easy to follow. I like that the printer is incorporated into the analyzer and that the consumable boxes have sensors that count down the number of tips left. Very easy for staff to use.
