Standard workstation in our PCR lab
We use this Workstation consequently in our PCR lab in order to avoid contaminations with genomic DNA or PCR amplicons. The UV light is very effective and could be switch on after every attempt or could be programmed. One issue is the plastic front that gets chapped by the UV light. But this product is absolute of valuable and utilisation in a high performed PCR lab. No matter of price if you prefer a non contaminated PCR area.

UVTect™ microprocessor controller is a standard feature on AirClean® Systems combination PCR Workstations. UVTect™ constantly monitors the effectiveness of the workstation, alerting the operator if the HEPA filter or UV bulb need replacement. UVTect™ also allows the operator to manually adjust the airflow, accommodating even the most fragile samples.
