The PBS tablets I've ordered from Sigma are just the best a researcher can ever get. When they are just dissolved in distilled water, they can be used and reused for PBS washes in IHC and IMF staining. They also wash thoroughly and give good results without any background staining.

Reconstitution
Application procedure:
Dissolve 1 tablet in 200 mL water to obtain a 137 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl and 10 mM phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.4 at 25 °C)
