Serological pipetting
Have bought many other brands of pipette aids, and these are still the best. They last forever, and rarely need parts replaced besides the battery. I found some from an old PI's lab that must have been at least 15 years old, and all I have to do was clean them and replace the battery; works great!

Very reliable and well built.
Cell culture and othe lab use
Its very reliable and well built. Its fallen many times and still works fine. Not much maintenance is needed. We bought it a few years back and up untill now we did not have any issues with the battery. Some of them in our lab are more than 6 years old and still work fine.

Daily use for reagent transfer
Our lab used the Drummond pipet-aid daily at the bench and cell culture hood. It's easy to use, charge, and maintain. Customer service was good and quick to respond. Less than a year after purchase, one of our pipet-aid batteries was corroded. And, they quickly fixed the problem.

Tissue culture treatment, basic bench-work utilization
We really like the Pipet-Aids, we have several in our lab. However they seem to stop working after a few years of use. When you click to bring up volume there is a delay sometimes and we have noticed that some have stopped working even after months of use. Very sad to see the quality decrease as we have some older units that are fine.

The Drummond Pipet-Aid is the only Pipet Aid I will use/purchase. Every other brand I have used has not stood up to the demands of laboratory use. I have Pipet Aids that are decades old and still function as well as the brand new ones we have purchased. There is no comparison at all!
