Prepare samples for PCR
Air Science PCR cabinet was selected for its small footprint in our limited space available. Very easy to work in with plenty of room for maintaining sample integrity. Was worried about the front opening, but find it easy to work with down, and can easily move it up out of the way. Very easy to keep clean.

3D Bioprinting
The hood is very practical and efficient for the purpose I am using it. I installed two bioprinters in the hood in order to be able to print biological material in sterile conditions. I was very happy with the ease of setting up the hood and ability to sterilize it with UV. It fits perfectly on a bench top working area.

In the design of the Purair PCR Laminar Flow Cabinet, we evaluated a range of materials that would offer the best combination of utility and durability for your application. Based on our research and feedback from the field, we chose a clear polycarbonate material for our primary structure. The reason for this choice was that we wanted a cabinet that offered the highest visibility to the work surface, while at the same time offering necessary resistance to UV radiation essential to decontamination between PCR processes. Polycarbonate was our most practical option, despite the fact that scratches may show more easily. Other materials were not practical. We hope you continue to select Air Science for your containment equipment with the confidence that our engineering includes lots of hands-on information from customers such as you here in the USA and around the world.
BIOFIRE PCR PANELS - BLOOD, INTESTINAL, CSF AND RESPIRATORY SPECIMENS
I am very happy with the PCR hood as we are doing testing several times a day and do all of our setup in the hood which protects the worker and keeps contamination under control. We do clean after each specimen with bleach followed by alcohol and the instrument has held up very well. We purchased the stainless-steel insert.

Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a simple and inexpensive technique to make multiple copies of a targeted nucleotide sequence from a DNA sample and to amplify sequences from small samples. This technique is widely used in genetics laboratories that work with DNA and RNA.
