Dependable workhorse for plasmid purification.
Small scale plasmid purification
Kit represents the gold standard for plasmid preparation. While a little pricey, the Qiagen miniprep kit returns quality DNA for Sanger sequencing. Only complaint is that there is no lid for the columns, which leads to more buffer coating the inside of the centrifuge.

Recombinant DNA plasmid isolation
The kit is easy to use. Rapid and effective, I was able to generate a great amount of different mutants for my gene of study in a few weeks and I got to enough plasmid DNA for further experiments (transfection of insect cells for recombinant protein expression). For each construct I could purify DNA with high yield and high purity. A great kit for plasmid purification for a very reasonable price.
