The Rainin model reviewed is the 1st generation E4 XLS (not the XLS+). Maybe it is the specific pipette we purchased that is flawed. The pipette has had issues with delivering consistent liquid volumes. It can be seen visually, as the levels of the liquid in the tips increase from channel 1 to channel 12. After contacting Rainin, they were good at reviewing our case and offering a replacement with the new XLS+ model. We like the XLS and hope the new XLS+ will be working fine.

Rainin E4 Electronic Multichannel 12 Channel LTS Pipette for volumes from 2-20µl. This LTS pipette reduces tip ejection forces, must be used with LTS tips and is supplied with a wall power supply.
