Works well with 2 buttons to control both up and down speed with LCD screen for easy speed informatio and has a large battery life. Maximum and minumum speeds with good range however when pipetting at maximum speed sometimes drops to minimum speed without touching the button, a problem that was reported to the seller (VWR) during the warranty period but the product came back with no issues detected to correct. Also the first we bought has malfunctioned a few years (4-5) after buying it
