Really changes the game when it comes to tube labeling

Average Rating 4.3

Application Area:

Tube and plate labeling

Labeling up to 400 cryovials was not only a time consuming process but it also greatly increased the risk of developing conditions such as RSI. Once the protocols had been set up you pretty much have to click about 5 buttons and upload a worklist and come back an hour or so later to ~600 labeled tubes. We've had a few issues with it and NBS haven't been the best or fastest with resolutions however Scinomix themselves are always quick to respond to emails and are happy to remote into the software whilst video calling to have a look at any issues they can. The value for money is not only measured in time saved labeling but also when taking into the long term health implications of not labeling so many vials it really makes it worth it.

Foundation of our standardization process.

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

Serum aliquoting (QC pools, whole units, and calibrators)

The Scinomix Sci-Print VX2 is the only instrument on the market capable of handling such a high throughput. The synchronicity of the aliquoting process with the labeling mechanisation facilitates what could be a laborious task. Saving time and money, this instrument is a cornerstone of our standardization programs. The one downside being troubleshooting. If you can learn your way around the machine you'll have a better time ensuring your VX2 remains active.

Good machine and consistent.

Application Area:

Manufacturing of assays

The VX2 has sped up our manufacturing 10 fold. There is moderate optimization to pick up and drop tubes as well as calibrate the suspension. Once the machine if fully calibrated operation is smooth.

Application Area:

Labeling of clinical samples

The system is very reliable but needs regular maintenance. The versatility is high but comes with a certain complication needing trained personnel.

Great asset for bulk preparation storage.

Average Rating 4.0

Application Area:

Labelling bulk prepared bioanalytical critical reagent aliquots for regulated assays

Eases the burden of storing bulk preparations. Gone are the days of time consuming hand written tube labels that inevitably become illegible. Easy to use. Consistent performance. Captures all relevant reagent information on an easy to read label affixed automatically while you are preparing the reagent. A real time saver.

Where has this system been all my lab life! No more manual labeling.

Average Rating 3.7

Application Area:

Laboratory Automation

This product is great for a range of tubes. Labeling is always consistent and simple to set up using worklists or the simple user interface. Support for the hardware and software has been great. The videos provided are excellent for upkeep and maintenance of the system. We as a company would love to have a universal gripper tool available. This has is already preventing us from integrating a Scinomix system onto robotic carts.

Can't imagine going back to before we had one.

Average Rating 4.7

Application Area:

Tube labeling, filling and sorting

We downsized the number of people working in our area but the workload was the same, with the Scinomix we were able to label, fill and sort tubes faster than before, more accurately and with fewer people. We have come to depend on the instrument so much we have purchased another as if it goes down, it would be hard to keep up with the production levels that we currently have.
