High performance data storage and analysis
SciDB is a really good data storage and analysis platform for high-dimensional, scientific data that can be installed on clusters to achieve 10x performance over our previous system. We have used SciDB on a number of imaging-based use cases and have beem able to analyse very large and high-dimensional imaging data in database and in parallel, thus eliminating the need to move large and unwieldy files around.
