Seahorse XF Cell Mito Stress Test Kit
The Agilent Seahorse Cell Mito Stress Test kit is the widely recognized, well accepted standard assay for assessing mitochondrial function. Multiple parameters are obtained in this one assay including, basal respiration, ATP-linked respiration, maximal and reserve capacities, and non-mitochondrial respiration. The assay provides insights into the mechanism of mitochondrial dysfunction and allows users to investigate functional…
Analyse mitochondrial function and dysfunction in in transfected or infected cells as well as variou
The mitostress kit has proven highly efficient in discerning levels of mitochondrial stress, particularly in transfected Vero cells, consistently yielding reliable results. The user support service is exceptional, ensuring smooth utilization. However, the kit's relatively short expiration date is a concern, and although user-friendly, its cost is on the higher side.

The assay provides insights into the mechanism of mitochondrial dysfunction and allows users to investigate functional differences among cell types, drug candidates, and genetic or biochemical interventions.
Each kit contains the material sufficient for six full plate tests and is available in two packaging sizes. The XF kit is for use with the Agilent Seahorse XF Pro, XF96/XFe96 and XFe24 Analyzers. The XFp kit is for use with the Agilent Seahorse XF HS Mini and XFp Analyzers.
