Mixing/homogenizing liquid samples
We currently have 3 of these shakers in the lab. Easy to use and helpful for homogenizing samples when heat is required. It's very convenient if your sample container fits the size of the magnetic holders that are used. If a resin sample spills in the shaker chamber it's not fun to clean up, but we had one that was a real mess (even had liquid resin spilled behind digital display) that still worked fine after we took it apart and cleaned it. One minor issue is there is no port for temperature calibration verification, but just drilled a small hole in the plastic lid for temp probe to fit and sealed it with a rubber septum.
