Biomarker sample analysis

We have had several 190 plate readers in our lab. The very first one was purchased in 2001 and just last year needed repairs that we could not justify for such an old piece of equipment, and chose to purchase a new replacement. We use our plate readers a lot, and I recommend this plate reader for basic absorbance readings for ease of use, reliability and value. Molecular Devices is very easy to work with and very responsive. They shipped the new plate reader quickly and had the installation scheduled just a few days after arrival.

Analyte assay for diabetes space

The product functions as expected, which is great. I often have trouble with the software interface freezing and taking long periods of time. Minus the technical difficulties the product is easy to use and is reliable for quantitation of my analytes of interest.

The system consists of eight sample beams and detectors and eight reference beams and detectors to deliver both superior precision and speed-of-reading across the microplate through 4.0 OD.
