TOTAL SAFETY SYSTEM PROTECTION FOR USER AND SPECIMEN
Every detail of the STP-120 has been engineered with safety in mind. Tight-seal lids minimize vapor emissions, while models STP120-2 and STP120-3 feature integrated fan filters for extra fume control.
In the event of a power failure, the onboard battery gently lowers samples into the reagent to prevent drying. Once power is restored, the system automatically resumes processing from the exact point of interruption.
SMART FAILSAFE TECHNOLOGY™: NO COMPROMISE ON CONTINUITY
If the power outage lasts long enough for paraffin to solidify, a dedicated safety program halts the process and waits until the paraffin melts again—avoiding any risk to your specimens.
If a step is overextended, the display alerts you with the station number and overtime duration. The system allows emergency basket movements (as long as they’re not in solid paraffin), offers a full emergency stop button, and even lets you pause a run for urgent sample additions or reloads.
