Complete Safety In Specimen Shipment. Labcon’s SuperClear® Specimen Collection and Transport Tubes provide certified safety when storing and shipping biological material. These leakproof freestanding tubes meet the IATA and U.S. DOT 95kPa performance specifications legally required when shipping samples by ground or air. This ensures transport tubes are leakproof under differential pressure conditions and extreme temperature shifts as outlined in IATA DGR UN3373 and U.S. DOT HMR, 49 C.F.R., Parts 171-180.
Specification:
- Caps include integral moulded elastomeric seal for a leakproof seal
- Spin to 12,000 xG for 5 and 10 mL tubes
- IATA 95kPa certified to conform with USDOT HMR, 49 C.F.R., Parts 171-180 and IATA DGR UN3373 PI650 mailing tube standards and packaging instructions for diagnostic and infectious specimens
- Freezable 121°C to -80°C and autoclavable

- All SuperClear® specimen collection tubes are made of high quality 100% pure virgin medical grade polypropylene. Resins are pre-tested to ensure no extractables are present (free of DiHEMDA, oleamide, and BPA).
- Every lot of shipping tubes is lab tested and certified free of detectable ATP, Nuclease (RNase/DNase), Endotoxin (pyrogen) contamination and certified to U.S.P. results.
- Resins are pre-tested for metal contamination.
