Since GATC was bought by Eurofins the quality of the Sanger sequencing went completely down. Inconsistent results, sequencing results with less than 400pb, a lot of noise, some times no results at all. Customer service is not willing to help .Same samples submitted to Mycrosynth get perfect results. Conclusion: they do not know how to do sequencing. Do not waste your time, just use another company. I am a very disappointed user in Heidelberg area.

Since the fusion of GATC with Eurofins, the delays are not respected, the web site is not user friendly (no proposition of the bar code number ) no message if the sequencing is not completed. The after sales service is not helpful and very slow - I am very disappointed. The GATC service was tip-top; the fusion with eurofin is messy.

Ordering and viewing the results is usually good. It's good that you can ask questions directly to the service provider. Service has always been good too, for example if you need the orange boxes.

GATC's SUPREMERUN is super easy to use, offering the possibility of pre-paying a batch of "sequencing jobs" - you get the barcodes for the sequencing jobs that you can use as needed. And you get your results in less than 48h! Also, the sequencing quality is usually very good! When I started using the service I needed to contact the support by email, and I got a reply from them in less than 6h. They were really helpful and professional. After trying many sequencing services, I recommend GATC SUPREMERUN - fast, high-quality and easy to use!

Both the time after submitting the samples and the time when I get the results, and the pricing is excellent. I hardly ever see failed sequencing. Also, preparation of the samples is easy and straight forward. Could not wish for more.

The sequence service is great and fast. The only minor thing that sometimes it's not clear why they have to repeat the sequencing run.

The samples sent and received within the next working day, results were delivered next morning. This is the quickest turnout I ever experienced. The runs that were not up to standard were repeated and data delivered on the same day. Highly recommended.

Quality of sequencing results is very good. Web Interface is nicely designed, but sometimes takes too long to load. The options on the last pages are not very convenient. You may choose only 1 size and 1 concentration, but sometimes, when you have multiple samples, they belong to different size/concentration windows. I do not want through the ordering menu 4 or 5 times to cover all my samples. It takes too long until the order is visible in the watch box. This has led to the result that I have, in the past, placed the same order twice, and it is not possible to cancel that second order then. Price design is a little odd. We have purchased the prepaid stickers and this works very well and the price is acceptable. But sometimes, the same sample should be sequenced a second time. If the "DNA@GATC option" is chose, the price is significantly higher that what we pay for the prepaid stickers. So just sending in a new tube with a new sticker would be way cheaper, but less convenient.
