This device is a handy tool in our environmental research. We get instant assessment of a proxy (in ATP measurement) of microbial activity. Swabbing can be variable and user-specific - that is, it was challenging to reproduce the results between users, although consistent if the same person used the device. I highly recommend this as a handy field tool.
