T4 DNA Ligase
T4 DNA ligase catalyzes the linkage of adjacent 5'-phosphate and 3'-hydroxy ends of double-stranded DNA by formation of a phosphodiester bond. It is used to ligate cohesive ends in an overnight reaction. The enzyme efficiently joins both blunt and cohesive ends and repairs single stranded nicks in duplex DNA, RNA or DNA/RNA hybrids.
