BSC for DNA and RNA extraction of human biosamples
Our lab recently purchased a 72" 1300-series BSC-II cabinet. It has lots of space, we were able to fit a centrifuge and vortexer easily. The downside is the plugs in the hood are only 5A, but we were able to run an extension cord into the hood to be able to use those machines. Overall, we love the space. The aftercare support is quick to reply. Our hood was sent without the UV bulbs or armrests and a quick email to support and they took care of it. We have received the UV bulbs just not the armrests but this is understandable due to COVID-19 shipping delays.
