Nice protection, but not worth the cost.
Protected chambers for cells lines
The cell locker chamber is, ok... It was nice to add another layer of protection for our tissue culture cells and to help prevent contamination spreading. But our biggest issue is with the side filters - we have replaced them twice now. They seem to keep warping, maybe due to the heat in the cell incubators? And the just don't last as long as expected.

The Thermo Scientific™ Cell Locker™ System consists of six individual segregated chambers within a CO2 incubator and provides enhanced culture stability and protection. Each chamber is equipped with individual glass doors, uniquely preserving critical conditions for sensitive cells by isolating cultures from door openings.
Cell Locker System:
A breakthrough in cell culture management, the unique Thermo Scientific Cell Locker System divides the cell culture incubator into 6 individual, segregated polycarbonate chambers which are autoclavable. The individual chambers enable enhanced culture protection and security, remain more stable, recover faster, and use less gas even under hypoxic conditions. The Cell Locker System represents a novel approach to providing improved culturing conditions for primary cells, stem cells, and other sensitive cell types.

Cell Locker Chamber as accessory:
Individual Thermo Scientific Cell Locker Chambers serve to quarantine cell types or different projects, offering enhanced protection for valuable cultures. Each Cell Locker chamber has dual 0.2 µm membrane filters that permit air circulation but exclude microbial contaminants and holds 9 each T-75 cell culture flasks, 20 each 6-well plates, or 24 each 96-well plates.
Individual Cell Locker Chambers can be used in any incubator type - please check dimensions to fit into your incubator.
