Robust quantification

Average Rating 4.7

Application Area:

Total protein measurement in high concentrations of detergent

Works perfect in 2% Triton X-100 samples.

The results are great and reproducible.

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

Protein quantification

The BCA kit is very easy to use and the results are reproducible. Can be used for the quantification of other proteins as well, such as casein, collagen, etc. The practical range of the quantification is from approx. 25 microgram per mL to 1 mg per mL.

Very reproducible and very convenient.

Average Rating 3.7

Application Area:

Quantitative protein assay for proteins in a fermentation broth

The assay is very reproducible in calibration. The calibration is almost the same for day to day but I still recommend calibrating for each assay. The assay is much more convenient than having to make up your own solutions for a Biuret or Lowry assay.

One of my favourite kits to use! Highly recommend!

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

Used to measure protein content in whole cell homogenates.

Compared to doing a bradford, this one is a breeze. Easy to follow the steps in the protocol. Once the BSA standards are made, you can freeze them down and they will last you a while depending on how many plates you use. Cut down the time needed to measure the protein concentration. Plus, assay is reliable and very precise.
