The uniTOC uses the principle of full oxidation by UV. The process can be enhanced with an additional dosage of reagent (Phosphoric acid/Persulfate). The carbon dioxide produced by decomposition is quantified by the NDIR detector and the TOC value is calculated.

uniTOC advantages:

  • NDIR detector - TOC is detected directly over CO2 and not via a 3rd parameter (conductivity), therefore there is no limit to conductivity.
