Application Area:

Nasal Sprays (Inhalation)

This nasal spray actuator is one of the best reliable actuators available for product development scientists who are involved in developing nasal sprays (both generic and branded). It helps scientists to eliminate variability associated with the hand actuation of the nasal sprays. It gives consistent and robust data. It is easy to use and easy to train scientists on how to use it. Tech support is excellent in solving issues.

Proveris’s patented Vereo® automated actuators reliably replicate hand use of nasal and oral spray pumps and metered dose inhalers.

Vereo actuator MicroDrive™ technology provides pinpoint accuracy for single-device shot weight and dose content uniformity tests. Moreover, Vereo actuators are the heart of all SprayVIEW® spray pattern and plume geometry measurement instrumentation, and the heart of Indizo® high volume, automated shot weight and dose content uniformity instruments.

Vereo actuators are available in configurations for all types of nasal sprays, including side-actuated and dual-actuated (squeeze bottle) devices. They are also available in configurations for oral sprays and metered dose inhalers.

Features & Benefits:

  • Automatic instrument verification, force transducer, calibration, and pump stroke characterization to the Viota software platform
  • Programmable velocity and acceleration profiles that users define, store, recall, test, and execute using Viota software
  • Real-time force and stroke position data display and recording through the Viota software platform for each spray actuation event to simplify process control and method harmonization
  • User-settable calendaring of re-calibration frequency with automatic enforcement
