I have been using these inserts for years and they are really useful.
Environmental analysis
These inserts are really useful if you need to reduce volume and store samples containing volatile compounds. The solvent does not evaporate and the samples remain unaltered even for long periods. They are suitable also for low volume auto-injection in HPLC analysis and not only for GC-MS analysis.
