The brand new Arctik™ mini series upright ULT freezers from Waverly are a unique new product line unlike anything else on the market. They have ultra low temperature capabilities (up to -90C) with an incredibly compact footprint. These undercounter ultra-low freezers are built with the same specs/features as standard size ULT freezers but just with a smaller size for labs/clinics that don't need to store a large amount of samples and/or don't have a large amount of space. The Waverly Arctik undercounter ULT freezers come in three sizes to meet your needs: The F7 (0.25cu.ft.), the F54 (1.9cu.ft.), and the F94(3.3cu.ft.); all of which could fit on a benchtop our under the counter. Arctik mini ULT freezers fit standard freezer racks and cryo boxes and are perfect for any lab, office, clinic.
These compact ultra-low freezers are great for those with low sample volume; or for those who need a more compact freezer that can fit tight spaces; or for those who need a portable freezer that can be easily moved/relocated. Perfect for molecular biology or life science laboratories for storing biological samples like DNA, RNA, protiens, cell extracts or reagents. They have also been extremely popular for use with clinical trials as they can be easily sent out to all participating sites.
Arctik™ F54 Mini ULT freezer
The Waverly Arctik F54 is the third size up in the Waverly Arctik mini upright ULT freezer lineup with a 1.8 cu.ft. interior. The F54 is the smallest model that fits standard or drawer-style freezer racks. The F54 has all the same features as a standard upright ULT freezer including microprocessor controls, digital display, all the necessary alarms, data logging, battery backup, probe connection, password protection, etc.
The Arctik F54 has very low energy consumption and heat dissipation. It is built with insulated inner doors with a heated door frame and a double-layer access door making it extremely efficient. It has a very low noise level with minimal vibration. Like all Arctik ULT freezers, it is produced with the true and original compressor technology to maximize performance on longevity. The unit also features castors, a door lock key, and a porthole for external temperature probes. All Waverly Arctik freezers are 100% HCFC/CFC free.
Optional accessories include:
- GSM alarm module sends a SMS message to one or several coded telephone numbers in case the temperature exceeds a fixed range
- SVS voltage stabilizers for excellent output voltage stability in case the voltage rises or drops
- Chart recorder for documentation of the temperature condition over a certain period of time
- CO2 backup system ensures optimized safety
- Cryo gloves protect your hands and prevent frost bites when handling samples which are stored at down to -160°C
