EMD Millipore's hERG membrane preparations are crude membrane preparations made from HEK293 stable recombinant cell lines, which are ideal HTS tools for screening antagonists against the hERG channel. The membrane preparations exhibit a Kd of 5.2 nM for [3H]-Astemizole. With 10 μg/well hERG Membrane Prep and 3.0 nM [3H]-Astemizole, a greater than 4-fold signal-to-background ratio was obtained.
EMD Millipore's cAMP HTS immunoassay kit, 384 well is a competitive immunoassay for quantitative chemiluminescence-based detection of cAMP in cell lysates and supernatants, which has been optimized for use in high throughput screening applications. The kit provides two ready to use 384 well pre-coated assay microplates and all reagents required to perform the assay.
Chem-1 cells are an adherent cell line endogenously overexpressing Galpha15 that is used as a host for Chemicon's ChemiScreen™ GPCR Membrane Preparations. Chemicon's ChemiScreen™ Wild-Type Chem-1 Membrane Preparations are ideal controls for validation of radioligand binding assays employing ChemiScreen™ GPCR Membrane Preparations in the Chem-1 host cell line.
Chemicon's cloned human CXCR1-expressing cell line is made in the Chem-1 host, which supports high levels of recombinant CXCR1 expression on the cell surface and contains high levels of the promiscuous G protein Gα15 to couple the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Thus, the cell line is an ideal tool for screening for antagonists of interactions between CXCR1 and its ligands.
EMD Millipore's CXCR1 membrane preparations are crude membrane preparations made from our proprietary stable recombinant cell lines to ensure high-level of GPCR surface expression; thus, they are ideal HTS tools for screening of antagonists of CXCR1 interaction with IL-8. The membrane preparations exhibit a Kd of 0.2 nM for [125I]-IL-8. With 5 μg/well CXCR1 Membrane Prep and 0.1 nM [125I]-IL-8, a greater than 5-fold signal-to-…
Chemicon's cloned human CXCR2-expressing cell line is made in the Chem-1 host, which supports high levels of recombinant CXCR2 expression on the cell surface and contains high levels of the promiscuous G protein Galpha15 to couple the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Thus, the cell line is an ideal tool for screening for antagonists of interactions between CXCR2 and its ligands.
Chemicon's CXCR2 Membrane Preps are ideal tools for screening for antagonists of interactions between CXCR2 and its ligands. Radiolabeled IL-8 binds to the CXCR2 membranes with a Kd of 0.075 nM. With 0.1 nM 125I-labeled IL-8, a 5-fold window of specific binding is obtained.
Chemicon’s cloned human CXCR3-expressing cell line is made in the Chem-1 host, which supports high levels of recombinant CXCR3 expression on the cell surface and contains high levels of the promiscuous G protein G16 to couple the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Thus, the cell line is an ideal tool for screening for antagonists of interactions between CXCR3 and its ligands.
EMD Millipore’s ChemiScreenTM CXCR3 receptor membrane preparations are ideal tools for screening for antagonists of CXCR3 interactions with its ligands. With 0.1 nM 125I-labeled IP10, the CXCR3 membrane preparation at 5 μg/well gives a signal:bakground of greater than 10-fold.
