Magnetic Racks and Devices
For use with PickPen magnetic tools when not working with QuickPick products, PickPen standard tips withstand autoclaving to ensure DNAase/RNAase free conditions. To avoid sample cross-contamination, new tips should be taken for each sample. Note that Bio-Nobile's QuickPick kits include all tips needed for the number of preparations specified for the kit.

For convenient handling and storage of PickPen tips, the PickPen tip box will hold 96 tips in 8 x 12 configuration in a vertical position allowing them to be picked up easily with PickPen magnetic tools.
The Magna GrIP™ Rack is a polyethylene rack containing 4 neodinium magnets. The rack is designed to rapidly and easily pellet samples bound to magnetic particles from the supernatant. In its horizontal position, the rack contains 8 holes suitable for 1.5-2.0 ml tubes or spin columns. The rack is versatile, and may also be used with either 15 ml or alternately, 0.5 ml tubes, simply by standing the rack on either side.
The PickPen 8-M magnetic tool offers the same benefits as the PickPen 1-M but allows parallel processing of 8 samples. The device is suitable for use with QuickPick™ kits in microplate applications.
