Nitrogen Evaporators are useful tools when dealing with samples in complex solutions that are difficult to concentrate using just heat. Utilising a nitrogen needle blowing nitrogen gas onto the solution combined with heat from a heating block or water bath, the nitrogen evaporator is able to easily remove excess solvent whilst preserving the integrity of the sample. They are an essential part of sample preparation.
