The Plate-ScanX enables microplate identification for data tracking in an automated liquid handling process on a Xiril robotic workstation. Xiril’s plate scanner device allows reading of 1D and 2D barcodes on the side of microplates. The plate gripper of the Xiril liquid handling workstation picks up the plate and presents it in front of the barcode scanner camera.
The Thermo-ShakeX device for automated tempered shaking of microtiter plates can be mounted on a Xiril liquid handling workstation. It is capable of shaking plates at a maximum temperature of 95°C. Specific adapters for flat-bottom, round-bottom and PCR plates ensure efficient heat transfer throughout the incubation period.
