Plate processing systems include microplate handlers for moving plates, heat sealers, stackers and carousels for storage, retrieval and delivery, microplate washers and piercers. Useful features of plate processors include walk-away automation, compatibility and easy integration with microplate systems.
If optical clarity is required, sealing film can be used instead of foil microplate heat seals. Vitl currently offers two heat sealing films, both of which can seal cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) microplates. Heat seals are available in packs of 100 sheets or as reels.
