A Comparative Study of the Extraction Capabilities of Various Substituted Silicas Used in Bonded Phase Extraction

8 Mar 2012

This study shows the effect of sorbent carbon chain length on analyte recovery and sample cleanup capability. It demonstrates sorbent specificity towards certain compounds to prove that extract cleanliness is a function of carbon chain configuration. It further demonstrates that sorbent capacity is directly related to organic loading and carbon chain length.
