A Dual Monoclonal Antibody Chemiluminescent ELISA for the Detection of Hepcidin-25

Hepcidin is the peptide hormone that helps maintain plasma iron homeostasis and is an important clinical biomarker. As hepcidin-25 is a key regulator of iron homeostasis, a reliable method to detect hepcidin-25 levels in a blood sample would greatly improve our understanding of how to impact the anemia of chronic disease. In this poster, the authors report the development of a robust immunoassay to measure hepcidin-25 in blood.
