A Fast and Reliable Method for Purity Analysis of Filgrastim

Filgrastim is a recombinant form of human granulocyte colony stimulating factor produced in E. coli bacteria, commonly utilised as a biologics. Filgrastim is used to treat neutropenia, a blood disorder. It is critical that the purity of Filgrastim (and other biologics) is known prior to treatment; this application note provides a USP approved method for the determination of biologics purity.
