An Improved Solvent Drying Technique for Enhanced Recovery of Organic Compounds

An Improved Solvent Drying Technique for Enhanced Recovery of Organic Compounds

27 Dec 2015

Effective removal of residual water from organic solvents is critical to achieve optimal recoveries for water soluble compounds. Sodium sulfate has been the standard technique for removing residual water from solvent extracts for many years; however, it has several major drawbacks. This application note demonstrates the use of SDS-101 Solvent Drying System utilizing DryDisk® to improve the recovery of organic compounds when removing water.
