Analysis of Microplastics Using FTIR and Raman-Microscopy

The presence of microplastic particles (MPP) is steadily increasing and contaminating the environment. One challenge for scientists is the difficulty in identifying and measuring these MPPs. In this application note, Bruker Optics discusses how FTIR and Raman microscopy can be used together to automatically analyze thousands of MPPs and measure even the smallest particles.
