Analyzing Aggregation Inhibition by Arginine with the Zetasizer Nano ZSP

27 Oct 2016

This application note describes the characterization of a model protein (lysozyme) in the presence and absence of arginine using the array of techniques provided by the Zetasizer Nano ZSP. It details a method for measuring protein aggregation using Static Light Scattering and Dynamic Light Scattering using the Zetasizer Nano ZSP. A distinct advantage of using the Zetasizer Nano ZSP is the ability to analyze protein aggregation quickly and simply, with the high sensitivity of the instrument allowing the earliest stages of aggregation to be characterized.
